Testimony of Harvey C. Loyd, 10/4/1995

Below is a testimony given by Harvey C. Loyd on October 4th, 1995, two years after the incident.

OFFICER WILLIAMS: We are now going to ask you questions about what happened on the evening of November 26th, 1993.
HARVEY: I’m ready.

W: You were with Andrew Patrick Cohen, correct?
H: Yes.

W: Gloria, Leo Cunningham, and Flynn were with you as well, correct?
H: Yes.

W: You five were driving from a concert in Philadelphia, correct?
H: Yes.

W: Do you remember where Andrew stopped the vehicle?
H: Yes. We stopped on a dirt road somewhere near Clinton Road

W: Before Andrew could remove the key from ignition, did the headlights immediately shut off?
H: I believe so, yes. My mind’s a bit foggy today.

W: Do you recall what time it was?
H: I’m going to assume it was maybe a bit after midnight, maybe 12:10 in the morning.

W: Was Leo the first individual to disperse from the group?
H: Yes, and he went into this abandoned house because he was a total idiot.

W: You and Andrew attempted to stop him, correct?
H: Yes, and Flynn tried to help us by going into the basement.

W: Do you recall what happened after Flynn went into the basement?
H: Yes. Andi and I were completely frozen at the top of the stairs. A large gust of wind blew through this broken glass window and I could feel the shards poking into my skin and I could’ve sworn I saw my own blood in a large pool at my feet.

W: Gloria called for you and the others to evacuate the house, correct?
H: I could hear her voice very faintly, screaming something like “He’s coming!”

W: Do you have any clue as to who “he” might be?
H: Oh, definitely. It was probably the guy who lived there and went on a killing spree on Halloween of 1956. I heard that he killed his whole family

W: Do you have any recollection of where you were last?
H: No, not from what I remember.
